SAP Business AI Platform (BTP)
Extend SAP on SAP Business AI Platform, keep the core clean
SAP Business AI Platform (BAIP), which many teams still know as SAP BTP, is where custom logic, integrations, data and AI belong. We build there, keep your S/4HANA core upgradeable, and keep platform costs under control.

The problem
The problem we solve
Every modification inside the ERP core makes the next upgrade harder, and an unmanaged platform quietly grows its bill.
-
Modifications block upgrades
Custom code inside the core turns every upgrade into a regression-testing project.
-
Systems that do not talk to each other
Point-to-point interfaces and file drops break silently, and nobody owns them.
-
On-premise data, cloud apps
New cloud, mobile and AI apps need live ERP data without opening your network to the internet.
-
Platform costs creep
Unused entitlements, idle runtimes and over-sized services add up month after month.
How we work
Our approach
We decide where each piece of logic belongs before we build it, then keep the platform lean.
-
Assess
Review your landscape, interfaces and extension candidates against clean-core principles.
-
Architect
Account structure, security, connectivity, and side-by-side or on-stack extension choices.
-
Build
CAP or RAP services, Fiori interfaces and integration flows, delivered in sprints.
-
Govern
Entitlements, transports and monitoring set up so the platform stays under control.
-
Optimise
Right-size entitlements, retire unused services and track consumption, so you pay only for what you use.
Focus
Platform costs, under control
Most SAP Business AI Platform (BTP) accounts carry services nobody uses any more. We find them and fix the set-up so it stays lean.
-
Usage and entitlement review
Compare what you pay for with what is actually consumed, service by service.
-
Retire idle services
Switch off pilots, test runtimes and duplicate services that still bill every month.
-
Right-size what stays
Choose the plans and sizes that match real workloads.
-
Alerts and monthly tracking
Budget alerts and a simple monthly view so costs never drift again.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.
What is SAP Business AI Platform?
SAP's platform for extensions, integration, data and AI around your SAP applications. Many organisations still call it SAP BTP, and the services and skills carry over.
What does "clean core" mean?
Keeping the S/4HANA core close to standard and putting custom logic on the platform or in released extension points, so upgrades do not break your customisations.
Do we need the platform if we are still on ECC?
Not necessarily, but extensions built there now move with you to S/4HANA instead of having to be rebuilt.
How can we reduce our BTP costs?
We review entitlements, consumption and runtimes, remove idle services, right-size the rest and set up usage alerts. Services activated for a pilot and never switched off are a common source of savings.
How does the Cloud Connector keep on-premise systems safe?
It opens an encrypted tunnel from inside your network to the platform and exposes only the systems and resources you explicitly allow. Nothing is opened to the internet.
Planning an extension, integration or cost review?
Tell us what you need to connect, build or save, and we will propose where it belongs.
